EVLC — Event Venue Logistics Consulting — is a Denver-based event operations company working internationally. We plan, procure and run the operational side of large live events, and we build the software we use to do it.
One accountable lead for the whole operation.
Most large events split their operations across a dozen vendors and a general contractor, with the organizer left to hold it together. EVLC takes that role: we plan the operation and the budget, contract the venue and the vendors, manage the labor and the equipment, run the freight and the docks, and stand up the show-day systems — with one lead accountable for all of it.
We built Eventra, our operations platform, because the tools available did not match how a show floor actually works. Our operators use it on every show, so the software is shaped by what the yard needs at 06:00 on a load-in day, and the operation benefits from a single live record of every truck, slot and door.
We work with event organizers, production companies, publishers and venues, and we are comfortable operating behind a client’s own brand: exhibitor- and public-facing materials carry the show’s name, and our team presents as show staff on site.
Steve directs every EVLC engagement from the first site visit to the last truck out. He builds the operating plan, negotiates the venue, vendor and labor agreements behind it, and holds oversight of the whole operation once the show is live — in the production meeting and on the floor.
He has led operations at convention-center scale for some of the largest publishers and esports organizations in the world, and he is the principal architect of Eventra, the platform EVLC runs its shows on. Clients get one person who is in the room for every decision and answerable for every outcome.
